EYES OF DESPAIR

This little girl lives in Haiti. I took her photo when I was there working at a medical clinic up in the mountains. She was malnourished and she would eat dirt because she was so hungry. I often look at her picture and wonder if she's been able to survive or if she's succumbed to poverty in a 3rd world country.
